Bio
Denton Bowling welcomed Cassidy Duskin to his staff in Fall 2025. Duskin brings an accomplished playing career at both the NJCAA and NCAA Division II levels, highlighted by multiple all-conference honors and record-setting performances.
Before arriving at Calhoun, Duskin was a standout student-athlete at Nova Southeastern University, where she threw her first career perfect game and was one of only three players to appear in all 55 games during her final season. She batted .365 with 76 hits and 26 RBIs, earning First Team All-Sunshine State Conference honors.
Prior to her time at Nova Southeastern, Duskin competed at the University of North Alabama, posting a 6–5 record in the circle with a 1.31 ERA while holding opponents to a .218 batting average. She began her collegiate career at Northeast Mississippi Community College, where she was named to the NJCAA All-Region Team as both a freshman and sophomore and earned Second Team All-American honors her sophomore year. During her third year, made possible by a COVID eligibility extension, she became the program’s all-time hits leader.
A native of Alabama, Duskin is a graduate of Sparkman High School, where she was an All-State selection as a freshman and an All-Region honoree as a sophomore. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Applied Professional Studies with a minor in Business from Nova Southeastern University.
