Game 4 – Calhoun 7, Snead State 4
Calhoun saved their best for last, rallying late to secure the series win in the finale.
Trailing 4-2 entering the bottom of the sixth, the Warhawks erupted for five runs in the inning. The highlight came from offensive standout Keeli Mullins, who launched a go-ahead three-run home run to swing the momentum in Calhoun's favor.
Morgan Lane added a two-run homer, and the Warhawks tacked on two more runs to seal the 7-4 victory.
"Keeli's swing in that moment was huge for us," said Head Coach Denton Bowling. "That's a big-time hit in a big-time spot. I'm really proud of how this group kept competing all weekend. We didn't let the loss earlier in the day carry over, and that says a lot about their mindset. We're starting to see this team respond the right way when things get tough."
Calhoun will return to action Friday 3/27 at home against Coastal Alabama South.
