Women's Golf Competes at Jefferson State Invitational
Pensacola, FL – Calhoun women's golf competed Monday and Tuesday at the Jefferson State Invitational, with three Warhawks representing the program as individual competitors in the two-day event.
Due to several injuries within the lineup, Calhoun traveled with only three athletes and did not record a team score. Despite the limited roster, the Warhawks continued to battle through the tournament and gain valuable experience against a competitive field.
Sadie Graham led the way for Calhoun, finishing 32nd overall. Graham showed consistent play across the two rounds, recording par or better on 12 of the 36 holes she played during the event. Her steady performance highlighted the Warhawks' effort as they navigated the challenging course conditions.
Emma Thomas also delivered a solid showing, finishing 47th in the field. Thomas remained competitive throughout both rounds and continued to contribute valuable tournament experience as the Warhawks work through a difficult stretch with injuries.
Kenley Staats rounded out the Calhoun trio, placing 54th overall. Staats battled through the two-day event and added another competitive outing for the Warhawks during the spring schedule.
Despite competing shorthanded, Calhoun continued to show resilience and determination as the team works toward getting its full roster healthy later in the season.
The Warhawks will return to action March 23–24 when they host the Calhoun Women's Golf Spring Classic at Burningtree Country Club in Decatur.
