Warhawks Stomp #23 Wallace State in Straight Sets
Decatur, AL – Calhoun Volleyball made a statement Wednesday night, sweeping #23 Wallace State 3-0 with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-14. The Warhawks controlled the match from the opening serve, never allowing Wallace to gain momentum, and dominating play from start to finish.

Maddie Schwabe and Amber Holshouser each dished out double-digit assists, keeping the offense in rhythm throughout the night. Defensively, Ashtyn Douglas anchored the back row with a strong performance in digs.
Head Coach Jamiee Freeman praised her team's performance: "That was a great, dominant win from start to finish. I'm so proud of these girls and the way they came out with intensity and played together. Wins like this show what we're capable of when we stay focused, and it gives us great momentum moving forward."
With the victory, Calhoun improves to 12-2 on the season and builds momentum heading into a busy weekend. The Warhawks will be back at home on Friday, September 26, hosting Enterprise State at 1 p.m. and Chattanooga State at 5 p.m.
